Tips for Managing Your Time When You Work From Home
Working from home has become a total life changer for me.
I’ve found myself to be less focused on the clock & more focused on my work.
I’ve become WAY more productive and efficient with my time.
But it’s not as fun & easy as it sounds.....
Productivity + A Day In The Life
Productivity is something we all want more of. We want to do more in less time. While there are apps and tools to help you with this, most productivity is generated from the right mindset. So what are some productivity tools to help you get stuff done? Let's dive in.
Did You Succeed—And Miss It?
Did You Succeed—And Miss It? I did.
After two years spent writing a manuscript (a brave step for an ex-math teacher) and then pursuing publication (with no contacts and no idea what I was doing), I signed a contract with a small traditional publisher. My book was published—there it was on Amazon.com! Success!

August Income + Stats Report
This month has been so incredibly busy, it's a wonder I had time to breathe. Yesterday marked the end of the pre-sales for my Bundles, so a huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased and gave feedback. You are all amazing.
July Stats & Income Report
This blog post is going to be a bit different than usual… this weekend I stupidly climbed a fence for shortcut to our car and cut my hand on the top. I ended up needing seven stitches and a tetanus shot.
It's actually not too bad, but typing is going to be a bit difficult for the rest of the week so I wasn't able to write out a normal blog post as I was planning. However, I decided to take this chance to do my first ever income and stats report for the month of July.
Adding Your Blog to Your Resume
If you're like me and blogging is more than a hobby you might want to consider adding it to your resume. This can be the same for any online shop, YouTube channel, freelancing gigs or part-time work. I work anywhere between 5 and 30 hours a week on blogging, YouTube, and social media.
All of these things can look great on a resume if you're applying for a job in Social media, marketing, journalism or really anywhere that will appreciate some advanced internet skills. If you've been working on your blog or website for over 6 months, you should add it to your resume right now.
5 Online Business Ideas
There are a million ways to make a living online. I wanted to break down 5 of the more common ways. Keep in mind you can mix these 5 ideas together. For example I have a blog and an etsy shop along with using social media sites. You don't have to stick to just one idea. Building a brand and having multiple income sources is the best way to maximize your time and your money.
The 5 Year Plan
There's a lot of debate about whether making a 5 year plan is a great idea, or a horrible one. I've always been a planner, so I'm falling on the side of loving the idea. I think having a plan for a few years down the road will keep you focused. I believe God's plan will overwrite mine everyday - but having goals is a great motivator, and a 5 year plan is all about goal creating.
