Did You Succeed—And Miss It? I did.  

After two years spent writing a manuscript (a brave step for an ex-math teacher) and then pursuing publication (with no contacts and no idea what I was doing), I signed a contract with a small traditional publisher.  My book was published—there it was on Amazon.com!  Success!

Or was it?

As someone who has just started the entrepreneur journey, I spent countless months before I launched my blog soaking in everything I could. I remember stalking facebook groups, waiting for people to drop their latest blog posts and subscribing to as many blogs as I could. 

I spent the day printing out content upgrades and filling them out at night. Before I started my blog, I got 200 emails daily and tried my best to reach inbox 0 every day, I signed up for every webinar even before I knew what it was about – I kept thinking to myself, the more information I know, the better.

So many people just want a pretty website, but if you want your online business to be successful, it has to be more than that. You can't decide on what your website and brand should look like until you know who you're serving and how you're doing it. The purpose of your business needs to determine the way you present it visually.

This was an odd month to say the least. I spent every weekend at my parent's home and didn't do any work besides during the week. Because of that my sales and client work was much less, but because I planned ahead and purchased year-long subscriptions to my tools, I was able to cut my monthly expenses by almost 80%. 

Due to some personal stuff I will be taking a large break in December but my sales and ads will be able to keep my expenses paid and help me make a little extra for the holidays.

Have you ever wanted to give yourself the gift of time? What if you had an extra hour or so a week? How about a day? A day doesn’t go by that you’re trying to squeeze as much into that elusive work-life balance as possible, yet still retain your sanity.

We all feel that pain. What if you could automate your blog and business to do some of the work for you? That alone would make it feel like you gained superpowers, which is exactly how Zapier wants you to feel.

Proverbs 31: 10-31 is a passage in the Old Testament written by King Lemuel's mother around the 10th Century B.C.. The passages were written as poetry to the King as advice on how to find a Godly wife and a "woman of valor". The whole idea of the passage is to describe "the perfect woman" and someone who would be fit to rule alongside a king as a strong and Godly woman. 

You’ve nailed your brand, you have a logo, your social media accounts are set up and on a roll, you have a great product or service offering, you’ve been making sales and you’re enjoying what you do… except that eventually, this doesn’t mean much if you’re not offering exceptional online customer service.

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been asked this question, "How do you keep up with everything you do"? For those of you who don't know me, I'm currently working a day job at my cousin's business, I go to classes twice a week, I run this business on the side and I'm planning my wedding for this coming summer. I keep busy, and it always surprises people when I tell them what I do.

Today I'm going to answer that question as fully as I can.
