About My Life

01 - I have been running online businesses since middle school, where I made and sold Neopet graphics. I love business and learning - but my success in both has not been traditional.

I dropped out of college (twice!), I am a self-taught front-end developer. I have taught and coached hundreds of women to launch their own businesses, and I’ve been creating YouTube videos since I was 17. I have worked as a virtual assistant, executive assistant, operations manager, operations coordinator, Amazon account director, and entrepreneur. I wear a lot of hats.

02 - I’m a mom to two beautiful kiddos and a wife to my high school sweetheart, DJ. We have two dogs and a cat, and with my mom living with us, my sisters up the road, and my in-laws down the street - it makes for a very full, very loving house.

My family is my rock. I have two sisters, two sisters-in-law, a dozen cousins, and, overall a huge family who I adore. We’re loud and a little crazy, but we love well, and we cook even better. If you’ve ever been to one of our end-of-summer camp-outs or 4th of July BBQs - welcome to the family ❤️

03 - I am an avid reader and learner. I pour through books because there’s never enough time to read. I am almost always taking some online certification courses or making progress toward my bachelor’s degree.

Recently I started the process of learning (in a slightly more traditional sense) how to code with HTML, CSS, Javascript, React and Node. If you ever need a book recommendation or a note-taking app, I have a well-thought-out list of 500 for each. I am a tech nerd through and through.

Hi! I’m Nora.

I create content about sustainable productivity.

I worked in logistics and e-commerce for over a decade (all while running Nora Conrad on the side). I learned a lot about online business and I’ve also learned how common burnout is in nearly every industry. Now I get to use that experience and talk about topics like:

  • Hitting your goals without sacrificing your mental health

  • Reevaluating what success looks like to you and then changing course

  • Developing habits that “level up” your life (without the guilt when you miss a day)

  • Discovering how to stop “learning to juggle” and step away from things that don’t fulfill you.

Current Projects

I am always working on something, partially because I like the challenge and partially because I have a true inability to relax.

  • 90k Challenge - I am working on scaling up my business to a 5 figure income and blogging / vlogging / logging the entire process.

  • Making my way through the Psalms - I have read my bible many times, and my least favorite section has always been poetry. I’m working toward changing that and gaining so much insight along the way. I’ll be starting a series on this on my YouTube channel, Salted Scripture if you’d like to follow along.

  • Learning Javascript with ZTM - apparently, the little I knew is not actually that helpful in practical cases, so I’m starting from scratch!
